Santa Margherita Ligure

Santa Margherita doesn’t have an unique and great beach, but a lot of scattered small pearls in the several kilometers of coast associated with this town. Since the atypical conformation of the coast in this paradise corner, you can sometimes find small beaches that are immersed in the greenness or derived amongst the rocks, but very suggestive. As for the greatest part of the Ligurian seaside, the attentive care for the environment returns to the man an immense pleasure when you observe the cleanness and the transparency of the water of the sea. Moreover, large green areas are dedicated to the dwellers and to the visitors near the promenade and the whole city.
The route of the promenade roughly imitates the development on the sea of the city, offering an astonishing vision of the local architecture. However, it’s possible to carry on by foot as far as to Portofino, at intervals supported by a footbridge on the rocks, a picturesque bridge thanks to the visited environments that are really unique. >> more
